Campaign Strategy and Identity Development
Co-created a municipality-wide sanitation movement in partnership with Lahan
Municipality through a multi-stakeholder ideation workshop engaging elected leaders,
ward representatives, youth groups, Dalit communities, schools, and WASH service
providers. Developed the campaign identity “Ghar Ghar ko Shaan: Swachhata
Abhiyan,” positioning sanitation as dignity, pride, and shared civic responsibility.
Designed bilingual messaging in Nepali and Maithili, slogan architecture, and integrated
communication tools that frame toilet ownership and hygienic behavior as symbols of
municipal honor.
High Impact Launch and Public Mobilization
Launched on World Toilet Day 2025, mobilizing 500–1000 participants, including
students, teachers, municipal officials, and community leaders. Facilitated a public
Commitment Oath led by the Mayor, activated a symbolic Commitment Wall, and
executed a synchronized drone moment to reinforce collective ownership visually.
Ward-level outreach, school campaigns, and community dialogues are sustaining
momentum toward restoring Open Defecation Free (ODF) status.
Behavior Change and Community Activation
Addressing 16–17% ODF slippage through pride-based behavior change strategies that
prioritize ownership over enforcement. Youth groups, religious leaders, cooperatives,
and ward committees are conducting door-to-door outreach, public engagements, and
school-based sanitation drives. Targeted support is being aligned with vulnerable
households to ensure inclusive access and sustained toilet functionality.
Municipal Systems Strengthening and Policy Alignment
Reinforcing sanitation governance through revitalized WASH Coordination Committees
and strengthened accountability mechanisms. Sanitation goals are being integrated into
municipal processes, with regular coordination meetings aligning technical interventions
and communication strategies. The campaign is bridging behavior change with
institutional responsibility to ensure long-term sustainability.
Media, Amplification, and Impact Storytelling
Produce and manage nationally broadcast sanitation dialogues featuring municipal
leadership, aired on Image Television and Image FM, expanding the campaign’s reach
beyond Lahan. Transformed the Mayor’s Commitment Oath into a locally broadcast
radio jingle to reinforce public recall and engagement during the campaign launch.
Multichannel Communication and Digital Engagement
Amplifying the campaign through coordinated use of Facebook, TikTok, local FM
stations, school networks, and community forums. Youth champions are generating
contextualized content that sustains visibility between major activation moments.
Through integrated communication, on-ground action, and digital storytelling, the
campaign is continuing to strengthen sanitation ownership across all 24 wards of Lahan
Municipality.
By combining creative strategy, municipal leadership, and sustained community
engagement, Vision Three Sixty is supporting Lahan in transforming sanitation from a
technical challenge into a movement of civic pride.
That’s how we Live Your Vision.
